GPRW’s World Water Day Event
On Sunday, March 20, we celebrated almost twenty years of collaborative partnerships in Latin America during our World Water Day event. It was a wonderful evening filled with delicious Latin American cuisine, lively conversation, and beautiful music. Through the support of our attendees, sponsors, and volunteers, we raised over $10,500 for clean, accessible water, changing more lives in rural Guatemala.

About World Water Day
Established by the United Nations (UN) in 1993, World Water Day raises awareness of the importance of fresh, clean water for all. Globally, about 2.2 billion people live without access to safe drinking water. In Latin America alone, it is about 35 percent of the population. On World Water Day, the UN and organizations worldwide host events to raise awareness and encourage taking action to solve the global water problem. For more information, visit the UN website.
